Valencia CF to pay tribute to Jesús de Miguel during the Real Madrid match at Mestalla

Valencia CF will pay tribute to Jesús de Miguel, the CD Tenerife player whore cently passed away, with a series of tributes during tomorrow’s match against Real Madrid CF. The game will take place at Mestalla on Saturday 7 November at 9:00 pm.

As a mark of respect and sympathy, the Club will fly the CD Tenerife flag at half-mast from tomorrow, Saturday, until the end of the current matchday in both LALIGAEA SPORTS and LALIGA HYPERMOTION.

In addition, players from both teams will walk onto the pitch in alternating order, wearing T-shirts in memory of Jesús de Miguel and carrying a bouquet of flowers.

Before kick-off, there willbe a minute’s silence. Then, in the ninth minute, matching the shirt number Jesús de Miguel wore, play will stop briefly to honour his memory.

Valencia CF wishes to extend its deepest condolences to Jesús de Miguel’s family, friends and teammates, as well as to everyone at CD Tenerife, during this difficult time.
